LARPing

What is LARP?

Live Action Role-Play (widely known as LARP, or LARPing) is derived from the game where dices helps with the formulation of desicions, and a story master controls the direction of the game. But instead of using character tokens, markers or hero stat charts, the player immerses themselves in the game, with real life conditions and game preset environments.

Players are expected to act within the parameters of the scenario and to strictly adhere to the conditions and rules of the story. In some cases, marshalls are scattered throughout the playing field, like in paint ball or air-soft skirmishes, to provide witness support to completed goals, missions and/ or to hand down a ruling as needed.

Cosplay LARPing

Adding another dimension to the LARP experience, cosplayers are allowed to dress-up and act like the characters from their selected story media (i.e., movies, comics, anime, games, etc...) in joining the game. Within the duration of the game, they act out the behavior of the character, using their equipment and tools as shown in their respective media, to augment their playing style. Character powers and/or abilities like flying, teleportation, invisibility, energy projections, invulnerability and others of the sort are not allowed to be integrated in the game play.
